MB Connectivity China

MB Connectivity entered the Chinese market in 2007. As one of the original European suppliers for Alstom's PENDOLINO high-speed trains, the first batch of high-performance special rail transit cables that MB Connectivity sold to the Chinese market was used on the CRH5 Hexie EMU trains (a platform derived from the PENDOLINO model). With the rapid development of the Chinese railway market and in order to better meet the needs of Chinese customers, in January 2011 MB Connectivity invested in its second special cable production base worldwide in Ma'anshan, Anhui Province, China. The Ma'anshan plant fully adopted Italian equipment, production process technology and raw materials, and after two years of construction the MB Connectivity Ma'anshan plant was officially put into operation in 2013.

The Ma'anshan plant focuses on serving the Chinese rail transit market. We can manufacture and supply the full range of EN50264, EN50306 and EN50382 European standard rolling stock cables. Supported by the R&D platform of our Italian headquarters, we can also provide customers with customised cable solutions such as jumper cables between car ends and composite cables.

By 2021, MB Connectivity China had grown into one of the leading imported-brand rolling stock cable manufacturers in the Chinese rail transit market. Our various series of European standard rolling stock cables are widely used on high-speed EMUs such as the Hexie and Fuxing trains, as well as on metro, light rail, monorail, low-floor and other urban rail vehicles in more than 20 large and medium-sized cities across China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Xi'an, Wuhan and Zhengzhou. As a long-established company with more than 50 years of experience in manufacturing special cables, our products provide reliable everyday travel safety for people throughout China.

MB Connectivity Italy

Since its founding in 1968, MB Connectivity has focused on the design and manufacture of special copper cables and special optical cables. We provide specialised and comprehensive products and solutions to markets such as railways, telecommunications, oil and gas, industrial automation and the defence industry.

In the early 1990s, after installing the first and, at that time, only linear electron accelerator in Italy, MB Connectivity's product development capability stood out. This was a milestone for MB Connectivity in producing a new generation of cables with superior performance for high temperatures and other extreme environments.

To meet today's ever-growing bandwidth requirements (fibre to the home), a great deal of core innovation has been applied to manufacturing a wide variety of end-to-end micro optical cables.

Our headquarters and production base are located in Dello, near Brescia, one of the major cities in northern Italy. Our second production base worldwide was built in Ma'anshan (People's Republic of China) and focuses on local production serving the local market.

MB Connectivity is one of the most representative, dynamic and accomplished companies in the field of special cables.
