MB Connectivity has recently been awarded IRIS (ISO/TS 22163) Silver certification by the IRIS Management Centre of the Association of the European Rail Industry (UNIFE).

        After a comprehensive audit and assessment across three dimensions – the assessment checklist, customer perception and key process performance – the audit team concluded that MB Connectivity’s quality management standards met the criteria for IRIS Silver certification in every respect. Following its evaluation, the Association of the European Rail Industry (UNIFE) issued MB Connectivity with the IRIS Silver certificate.

        IRIS certification is a quality performance assessment based on ISO/TS 22163, Railway applications – Quality management system requirements, and is divided into three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. For the Silver level, the overall system score must exceed 70%, the customer perception score must exceed 75%, and the process performance scores for the five mandatory processes must exceed 80%.

        IRIS Silver certification assesses a company’s quality management standards. It is a key measure for rail transit companies pursuing a strategy of management improvement on the path towards excellent performance, and it is currently the most influential and most widely applied quality management certification in the global rail transit industry.

        Through more than a decade of sustained effort, MB Connectivity has continuously improved its corporate quality management system. Achieving IRIS Silver certification is another important milestone in MB Connectivity’s accomplishments in the field of rail transit quality management.
